Through RSVP your hours are collected and sent to state and federal authorities. This data helps:
Promote the delivery of services.
Gain recognition of social, public, and charitable services in our area enabling their continuance.
Bring funding into our area through federal, state and private grant makers.
Address and improve “quality of life” issues.
What if I become ill and can’t volunteer for three months or more?
If you will notify the RSVP office, you will be placed on our inactive list and continue to receive the newsletter. When you are ready to volunteer again, just call us and you will be returned to the active list.
Can I volunteer at more than one station?
Yes, we record your hours for each station separately and require a signature at all stations.
How many hours do I have to volunteer to remain an active member?
You must volunteer one hour every three months to remain an active RSVP volunteer. This keeps you on our mailing list and your insurance in effect.
