Texoma RSVP helps people age 55 and older use their personal interests and skills to work in their communities.  RSVP volunteers may continue the type of work they enjoyed earlier in life, or opt to try something new.  Participants serve in organizations such as:  hospitals, nursing homes, youth centers, police stations, and educational facilities.  Lending their business skills to community groups that provide critical social services, distributing food to the homeless, mentoring children and working with environmental issues are among the variety of services volunteers provide.
